The BNC Soccer and Futsal Clubs welcome those highly skilled soccer players who share the BNC Foundation's philosophy of combining soccer and academic development as a means to achieve their higher education dreams. With hard work, motivation and discipline, combined with close academic monitoring and support, our talented players can dream of a better future through the many scholarship opportunites offered by colleges around the country. The BNC Foundation is committed to guide their efforts and provide much needed support and high exposure to college scouts.

If your are a skilled, committed, motivated soccer player and share the BNC Foundation philosophy, don't hesitate to contact us for a tryout opportunity to be part of one of our teams or projects.

Tryouts are held at any time by appointment, for our outdoor soccer and indoor futsal BNC Revolution teams:

Overview

For many years, Dr. Bara-Jimenez has supported youth soccer, including the creation and sponsorship of several teams which have played at various levels of competion, including Recreational, Classic and Travel leagues.  Most players come from families under serious social and financial hardship and are fully supported so they develop their talents.  Early on, the teams were members of the MSI INC soccer club.  In 2009,  he  founded the BNC Soccer Club. The flag team has been the BNC Bethesda Revolution, composed of highly skilled players who have participated in top outdoor soccer and indoor futsal competitions.  With the desire to help these youth use their talent to help finance their college education, Dr. Bara-Jimenez created the BNC Soccer Foundation, in 2011.

BNC Soccer Foundation Teams

The BNC Soccer Foundation teams have been rostered with a growing group of highly talented players and, throughout the years, have participated in numerous outdoor SOCCER Classic and Travel leagues, as well as Premier tournaments and National Cup Regionals.

In particular, BNC Soccer Foundation teams' players are exquisite, passionate FUTSAL players and active participants in top indoor futsal challenges at local, regional and national levels. For the past several years, they have excelled in numerous futsal competitions, including winning the 2011-2016 MD State Futsal Cups, as well as several USYF regional and national futsal tournaments. They also won the 2011 USFF National Futsal Championship, and are the current u19 USFF national futsal champions.

This summer 2016, BNC Soccer Foundation teams wish to participate in top level futsal competitions, including the USFF Nationals, in San Jose, CA, and the USA Futsal World Championship, in Orlando.  To meet these challenges, the BNC Soccer Foundation would like to send at least two teams, our current defending 2015 u19 national champions (BNC Revolution), and our u17 elite futsal team, BNC River Plate.  This u17 team has been the MD State futsal champions since 2011, under the direction of the recently departed and dearly missed Coach Jose Franco, r.i.p.
